Shaun McKeogh ICAE

Short biography

With over 28 years of global experience in the culture, leisure, themed attractions, and entertainment industry, Shaun is an IAAPA certified attractions executive, master designer of organisational cultures, and a sought-after international speaker and author. He founded Attractions Academy in 2018, a company that serves the global attractions industry with international best practice training standards and solutions to deliver leadership support and an improved culture of safety, service excellence delivery, and an engaged workforce. Shaun has a proven record in developing, delivering, and auditing customized training across every facet of an organization's needs and employee's development. He has worked with leading attractions and related industry organizations such as IAAPA, International Ride Training (IRT), Warner Bros. Movie World, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Sea World, Wet n Wild, and most recently in Saudi Arabia with the General Entertainment Authority (GEA). He is passionate about empowering attraction professionals to achieve their full potential and create memorable experiences for staff and their guests. He has authored and co-authored several books, articles, and publications on recognition, organisational effectiveness, and service excellence in the attractions industry. He is recipient of multiple awards and honors, including the Best Speaker Award at the 2020 WWA Virtual Show. Currently Shaun is excited about being a speaker at the annual IROC Camp and becoming a certified International Ride Training Auditor.
