Appetize Helps You Serve Guests Wherever They Are
Within its delightful candy shop-themed space, Appetize (Booth#6115) showcased its one-stop, cloud-based, point-of-sale software that serves as transactional technology for “everything after the turnstile,” said Brian Whitney, Appetize vice president of sales.
Appetize finds a middle ground that some systems aren’t serving. “Older systems have lots of hardware,” said Whitney, “while newer systems delivered strictly on mobile devices are too light.” Appetize combines advanced system technologies to work across all point-of-sale outlets within a theme park, attraction, or family entertainment center, including anchored cashier counters, quick-service kiosks, table service, self-pay kiosks, tours, retail, and more. “Customers can engage wherever and however they want, without the park having to manage multiple systems.”
Whitney gave the example of a single employee using one tablet to serve guests in a multitude of roles throughout the day, starting with selling coffee, then helping with tableside service at lunch, then pinch-hitting in the gift shop at the end of the day.
