Belgian company AlterEyes (Booth #E7201) has developed the technology to allow four virtual reality (VR) players rather than three to play on a single bandwidth. The company has assembled four personas across three proprietary games suitable for players ages 9 and up, who can now play head to head within a visually arresting stand-alone arena called DOJO.
DOJO looks like a modern 3D interpretation of "Twister," all bright, shining white with bold primary playing zones in green, blue, red, and yellow. Unlike most VR arenas, DOJO is slightly enclosed with vertical slats, which make players feel more protected and less vulnerable while immersed in their VR experiences. Yet, others can still see through to the action, encouraging new players to come and play.
