Sarah Hu

Short biography

Sarah Hu is the Director of Talent Acquisition and Cast Experience at Shanghai Disney Resort. Her leadership has helped to develop innovative and effective talent acquisition strategies and programs in line with the resort’s overall human resources and business objectives. She is also responsible for the resort’s overall employer branding strategy formulation and implementation. Sarah joined Shanghai Disney Resort in 2013 as Professional Recruitment Manager, leading the resort’s Grand Opening recruitment program. Since then, her role has expanded to include recruitment analytics and marketing, frontline and campus recruitment, and cast member experience. Sarah proactively builds and maintains external relationships with different organization including schools, communities, and non-governmental organizations to achieve winning results. Additionally, she is a strong advocate for digital innovation, consistently enhancing recruitment processes for greater efficiency and improved experiences. Under her leadership, her team has helped create a positive hiring experience for all partners and consistently delivered consultative solutions. Prior to joining Disney, Sarah had 12 years’ experience in various industries including advertisement, semiconductor and chemical, leading recruitment activities in China and other regions and countries within Asia. Sarah holds a bachelor’s degree from East China Normal University.
