Olivia Kang

Short biography

Olivia Kang is Manager of Compliance and Integration, Park and Disneytown Operations at Shanghai Disney Resort, representing Park and Disneytown Operations to support all operations related compliance work and event/project initiatives. Olivia began her tenure at Shanghai Disney Resort in 2015 as part of the opening team, initially as a Production Stage Manager for Entertainment Show Operations, where she set up a new show and its management system. In 2018, she transitioned to Entertainment Show Operations Resources and Planning, then moved to Park and Disneytown Operations in 2020. Before her time at Shanghai Disney Resort, Olivia amassed a decade of experience in entertainment and operations in multiple cities in China, Malaysia and the United States. She led major stage productions in Malaysia for Dama Music Productions and Yayasan Guan Yin. In 2013, Olivia was part of the opening team for "PANDA!" at The Venetian® Resort in Las Vegas and was involved in organizing the 2015 Chinese New Year Gala Night at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
