Short biography

Joseph joined Haichang Ocean Park in Sep 2022 and he is actively seeking out and filtering right potential long term business partners within the Region to jointly invest in ocean park/aquarium or other related themed entertainment destinations or FEC/LBEs, He works with Haichang in-house support of the project team or various consultants in order to configures layout components for Park-wise sites of new Theme Parks, attractions, and/or Hotels. Also, he works within Haichang’s team structure to establish and maintain common cost/schedule goals as well as interfaces with Haichang’s domestic and/or international staff for on-going quality control of existing projects. Joseph joined Universal Studio Beijing in April 2018 as part of the opening team with position as their Senior Director, Food Service Operations. Before joining Universal, he was responsible for Ocean Park in-park revenue and related guest service opportunities in the areas of food and beverage, retail, games, photo and other third party operations. Prior to Ocean Park in 2006, he was involved in various projects in Forensic Accounting & Financial Consultancy within the HK Government. He is native from Hong Kong with Scottish Heritage and speaks & writes 4 different languages with 4 nationalities. He began his hospitality career with a Full scholarship to study Hotel Management in Switzerland. After graduated, he was in various hospitality positions in a number of countries like Australia, Belgium, England, Switzerland and some others. In 1996, He returned back to HK from Switzerland with an associated company of Vitasoy International. Later on, he joined a subsidy of Swissair Group followed by Mövenpick Asia Pacific Group as their Country Manager / Regional Manager.
