Darren McLean

Short biography

Darren merges 23 years of experience as a civil engineer and business manager with an innate understanding of design and construction and a passion for attractions and entertainment. Over two decades, Darren has overseen the delivery of more than 50 major projects across twelve countries, ranging from residential and commercial developments to his true passion – theme parks, waterparks and integrated resort projects. He has vast experience and a holistic understanding of property development from planning and design to financing, marketing and sales to engineering and construction. As Executive Director of Pico Play, Darren leads a passionate team of 200+ attraction professionals working to cement Pico Play’s standing in the leisure industry and blaze a trail in the design and construction of world-class themed attractions and entertainment.
