Anthony Blitch

Short biography

Anthony Blitch is the Director of Park Operations at Hong Kong Disneyland, leading the operation teams and the product development of Premium Access Products for Hong Kong Disneyland. During his 6 years in Hong Kong, he’s successfully opened Ant Man & The Wasp, the Castle of Magical Dreams, Momentous a nighttime spectacular and recently Hong Kong Disneyland’s largest expansion, World of Frozen. His career began at Epcot Center in Florida in 1986. Anthony has a unique background that spans across all the Disney parks around the world and he’s been involved with several grand openings including Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Hong Kong Disneyland and Shanghai Disneyland. He spent 5 ½ years in Worldwide Safety where he led the Safety Auditing team. He’s participated in many expansion projects worldwide including the Disney Cruise Line and IMG Worlds of Adventure –Emirate of Dubai. He was a member of the ASTM 770 Committee that helps shape the standards for the theme park industry and he has supported various projects that have created more accessible attractions across the world. With over 35 years with the Disney Company, Anthony has a wealth of experience in customer service, leadership development, project management, safety programs, company collaboration and culture change.
