Ferraris Could be Racing to Midways Everywhere

Capitalizing on the global appeal of the Ferrari brand, Simworx (Booth #3421) and Katapult have partnered to develop “The Ferrari Experience.” The turnkey, media-based midway concept would tell the famous Italian carmaker’s story, including its history, heritage, and legendary vehicles through immersive simulator attractions, such as Simworx’s Stargazer Motion Theater, Mini Flying Theatre, and Immersive Tunnel.
The suite of attractions would take guests on a virtual visit to tour the auto company’s Maranello, Italy, factory, have a car showroom experience, and, of course, get behind the wheel of a sports car. The scalable attraction could also include an esports component and themed dining.
“To fly over a Formula 1 racetrack should be absolutely amazing,” said Simworx CEO Terry Monkton. “We’re super excited to be working with Katapult and Ferrari on this project and hope that operators and park visitors will enjoy it as much as we have.”
