IAAPA Europe, Middle East, Africa
Welcome to IAAPA Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). Our team is here to serve IAAPA members by promoting and representing the interests of the attractions industry in the region. IAAPA EMEA provides valuable educational content, offers exchanging opportunities during virtual meetings such as Live Chats, or in-person events, develops positioning papers in support of Public Affairs, and works diligently to promote industry safety and security standards. We also focus on enhancing member services and are always on a lookout for new ideas to benefit the industry community.
Whether you are a small or large-attraction owner, theme park, museum, supplier or consultant, IAAPA EMEA is here to support your business and bring the global attractions community together. We invite you to share your expertise by volunteering on one of our many committees or attending an in-person or online programme.
Please don‘t hesitate to contact us in case we can be of any assistance.

Safety Reporting and Resources for EMEA Members
IAAPA, the global association for the attractions industry, has always been committed to amusement ride safety. In 2007, IAAPA launched the Ride Safety Reporting System in Europe to collect data that provides reliable estimates of the volume and nature of ride-related incidents. This is achieved by gathering up-to-date, credible information that has been shared with the media, government, and other interested parties in the industry. Our annual European Ride Safety Report (ERSR) demonstrates how safe the attraction and leisure industry is in comparison to other industries.
This thorough resource, along with other safety-related documents and guides are available exclusively for IAAPA members here. Simply log in to the IAAPA website with your IAAPA member credentials to get the access.
IAAPA members in need of safety-related assistance should contact Pierre van der Wijst at [email protected].
