Michelle Faulk has served the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services for seventeen years. She has recently been appointed to Bureau Chief for Fair Rides Inspection, where she oversees seventeen field inspectors and five administrative support staff throughout the state.   In 2018 she was selected as the task group chair for the ASTM regulator group, bringing regulators across the world together to enhance knowledge, share information and discuss industry practices. In 2022 she was named to the AIMS Board of Directors where her role provides support for educational content and certification of industry professionals.  Michelle has a Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders from Florida State University, holds a Certified Public Manager designation from the Florida Center for Public Management and is a graduate of the department’s Legacy Leadership program.

Rick Kimsey joined the department in 2006 as a Chemist Administrator in the Bureau of Petroleum Inspection. After serving in this capacity for 10 years he was promoted to the Chief of the Bureau of Standards, to Assistant Director of the Division of Consumer Services in April 2017, and to his current position as Director of Consumer Services in May 2020. He has more than 23 years of experience in state government which includes time with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) in addition to his time at the department.  Richard has a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Florida State University and a Certified Public Manager designation from the Florida Center for Public Management. Richard is a graduate of the department’s Legacy Leadership program.
