What's New Video and Photo Upload

This is the place where IAAPA members may directly upload video and photos of their new attractions. IAAPA member facility owners and operators, along with IAAPA member manufacturers and suppliers, are encouraged to share their new attractions of all sizes.

Submitted b-roll from IAAPA’s different regions may be shared in the “What's New” video at IAAPA Expo Asia 2026 in Hong Kong SAR, China; IAAPA Expo Europe 2026 in London, United Kingdom; IAAPA Expo 2026 in Orlando, Florida USA; and IAAPA Expo Middle East 2027 in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The call for video submissions for 2026/2027 IAAPA Connections events is now posted below for each event.

IAAPA’s annual What's New videos highlight the best additions and innovations at amusement parks, theme parks, water parks, zoos, aquariums, family entertainment centers, science centers, museums, natural attractions, and resorts in each region. Rides, roller coasters, water slides, animal habitats, games, galleries, exhibits, zip lines, alpine coasters, and more are accepted.

CONTENT GUIDELINES

  • IAAPA member attraction operators/owners and suppliers/manufacturers may submit a :30 video, as long as both the facility and supplier are IAAPA members in good standing
  • All new attractions and experiences at IAAPA member facilities are eligible for inclusion
  • All riders in the video must follow IAAPA’s safe riding protocol of “Hands down, hands on, hands empty.” Video with arms and hands in the air, holding mobile phones, holding plush, or not holding onto a provided safety bar or harness will not be used

TECHNICAL GUIDELINES

  • All submitted video must be recorded as HD or 4K
  • All videos must not exceed 256 MB or the video uploader below will reject the clip. Please upload no more than :30 seconds of b-roll video (that's all it takes)
  • Pre-produced television and social media ads (with graphics, music, an announcer, etc.) will not be accepted
  • Video with graphics, logos, branding, marketing messages, text, watermark, and a copyright burned into video will not be accepted
  • All video must be recorded in the “landscape” orientation (not vertical or in “portrait” orientation, as shot on a smartphone)
  • Submitted artist renderings preview animation, or photographs will not be used; only b-roll of the attraction open and operating will be selected for inclusion

Attraction opening dates and the deadline to submit materials is different per each IAAPA event


IAAPA Summit: Latin America, Caribbean Summit 2026

The submission window for the 2026 video is now open!
Attractions opening in Latin America between February 1, 2025, and March 31, 2026 will be eligible for inclusion in the video to play while onboard Royal Caribbean Cruise Line's Wonder of the Seas. The submission window is set to close on March 31, 2026.


IAAPA Expo Asia 2026

The submission window for the 2026 video is now open!
Attractions opened in Asia-Pacific between April 1, 2025, and May 1, 2026 are eligible for inclusion in the video to be shown in Hong Kong SAR, China. The submission window is set to close May 15, 2026.


IAAPA Expo Europe 2026

The window to submit b-roll for the 2026 video opens May 1, 2026.
Attractions opened in Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa between August 1, 2025, and September 1, 2026 are eligible for inclusion for the video to debut at IAAPA Expo Europe 2026 in London, United Kingdom. The submission window closes on August 15, 2026.


IAAPA Expo in Orlando 2026

The window to submit b-roll for the 2026 video opens July 1, 2026.
Attractions opening in North America (Canada and the United States only) between October 1, 2025, and October 1, 2026 are eligible for inclusion in the video to debut at IAAPA Expo 2026 in Orlando, Florida. The submission window closes on October 15, 2026.


IAAPA Expo Middle East 2027

The window to submit b-roll for the 2027 video will open on December 1, 2026.
Attractions opening in the Middle East between 1 October 2025 and 1 February 2027 are eligible for inclusion in the inaugural video to debut at IAAPA Expo Middle East 2027 in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E.
