LOCATION: Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Discover a beautiful land that celebrates the magic of nature on this exclusive EDUTour before Disney’s Animal Kingdom opens to guests. Attendees will enjoy a custom breakfast menu and overview of the unique food and beverage offerings at the Satu'li Canteen. After breakfast, attendees will receive a guided tour of Pandora – The World of Avatar and experience the land’s two attractions, Na'vi River Journey and Avatar Flight of Passage. On Na’vi River Journey, guests journey deep into a bioluminescent rainforest aboard a reed boat and drift downstream passing exotic glowing plants, amazing creatures, and come face-to-face with the Na’vi Shaman of Songs. Avatar Flight of Passage lets interstellar explorers fly on the back of a mountain banshee during an exhilarating, 3D ride and get a banshee’s-eye view of the beauty and grandeur of Pandora. Participants will earn 3 credit hours toward IAAPA certification.
TRANSPORTATION: Buses depart from Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) South Concourse at 6:30 a.m. Participants may not drive separately. Buses depart Disney’ Animal Kingdom at 9 a.m.
Attendees are encouraged to arrive 15 minutes before departure time. Failure to arrive by departure time can result in forfeiture of seat. Available seats from no shows will be resold to individuals in the standby line.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE: Breakfast provided.
NOTES: Must be 18 years or older to attend. Separate ticket and Expo badge required for entry. EDUTours are exclusive to IAAPA Members. This tour is not open to the press.
COST: $155 IAAPA Members. Tickets should be purchased in advance, as space is limited and may sell out. Expo registration is also required.
