ORLANDO, Fla., US – Family entertainment center (FEC) industry owners and operators from around the world will gather to learn the latest best practices and share ideas in Stone Mountain, Georgia, for IAAPA FEC Summit 2020, the industry’s leading international conference for FEC owners and operators. The annual event organized and hosted by IAAPA, the global association for the attractions industry, will take place at the Atlanta Evergreen Marriott Conference Resort Jan. 26-28, 2020. During the three-day event, participants will have the opportunity to attend thought-provoking education sessions on a variety of important topics and connect with industry professionals and colleagues during exclusive networking events. Participants will also take part in a unique behind-the-scenes educational opportunity at Andretti’s Indoor Karting & Games.
Special guest speaker, Alan Miltz, financial analysis expert and co-author of “Scaling Up,” which teaches entrepreneurs how to simplify their business while increasing profits, will present a hands-on workshop highlighting case studies from two FECs.
In addition, the “Launch into Arcade Panel: 2020 Vision for Arcade Operators,” will feature industry experts and offer a look into what’s next for the gaming industry.
Education and breakout sessions will cover topics important to FEC operators and entrepreneurs including food and beverage, birthday parties/groups, risk management, games, attractions, and marketing.
During an optional post-tour on Jan. 29, participants will visit local FECs in a “dine-around” fashion to learn from the owners and operators. The tour will feature Urban Air’s newest 100,000 square foot facility, Malibu Norcross Grand-Prix, and Stars and Strikes.
