    Keeping the entertainment industry, the safest in the world is everyone's job.

    What is the Safety Month?

    It is a month-long, online, educational event where attractions industry safety experts share best practices to promote the safety design, construction, operation, maintenance, and supervision of parks and attractions, under the highest safety standards.

    When Safety Month will be held?

    From May 16, 2022, to June 10, 2022.

    What activities the Safety Month includes?
    • Educational sessions: safety topics presentations, followed by questions and answers; such as updating knowledge and trends.
    • Workshops: attendees are guided by an expert to solve a safety case or a particular and in-depth situation.
    • IAAPA Talks and Live Chat: safety best practices, followed by a constructive discussion between attendees and moderators.
    • IAAPA Global Safety Forum: the members of the IAAPA Global Safety Committee present panels where cutting-edge issues in attraction safety are addressed.
    • Private exchange group: the activity continues on days when there are no sessions, with the exchange of resources on safety and the interaction between attendees and speakers.

    Technicians and Operators, Middle and High Managers, of all kinds of parks and attractions; as well as anyone interested in guests and collaborators' safety.

    Do I have to attend all the sessions?

    You can attend all the sessions or only those of your interest, either because of your position or attraction. Please see our suggestion in the Agenda. Also, note:

    • - Sessions in Spanish – Tuesday, and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:20 p.m. EDT.*
    • - Sessions in Portuguese – Wednesdays from 12:00 p.m. to 2:10 p.m. EDT.*
