Tom has over 40 years of experience in the amusement industry, including time spent at amusement parks, fairs/carnivals, and third-party inspections. His career has spanned from Funtime, Inc., Six Flags to Cedar Fair before becoming a third-party inspector for the last 14 years. He joined MASI in late 2021.

Currently, Tom is on the Education and Certification Committees for National Association of Amusement Ride Safety Officials (NAARSO) and has served as the Treasurer. He holds a NAARSO Level 3 Senior Inspector Certification and had been a pivotal member of not only NAARSO as an instructor at their yearly safety seminar but also instructs at outreach schools. He has provided safety training to parks and carnivals insuring that safety, maintenance and operational standards are met.

Drew is also an active participant in several annual amusement safety schools and seminars where he brings his ‘down home’ brand of speaking to the industry. He is a technically trained insurance professional with objective analytical skills that enable him to develop creative solutions. Whether it’s climbing the highest peaks in the Rockies or fishing a tight trout stream, Drew’s lifestyle is always adventurous. Guided by core principles or integrity and compassion, he and his family are committed volunteers and supporters of their community. Drew’s greatest successes are the partnership he has with his wife and the raising of their two daughters.
