Golf, Run, and Join a Motorcycle Ride to Support Give Kids The World Village
During IAAPA Expo, three charity events will raise funds for Give Kids The World Village, an 84-acre, nonprofit resort in central Florida where children with critical illnesses and their families are treated to weeklong, cost-free vacations.
The 17th Annual IAAPA International Charity Golf Tournament* on Sunday, Nov. 17 will be held at a new location, Shingle Creek Golf Club in Orlando, Florida, minutes away from the Orange County Convention Center. The 18-hole scramble will begin at 8 a.m. Also on Nov. 17, the 10th Annual IAAPA Motorcycle Ride* will start from Orlando Harley-Davidson/Eagle Rider at 8 a.m.
The IAAPA Footprints from the Heart 5K Run/1 Mile Walk* on Thursday, Nov. 21 at 7:30 a.m. will be a fun-filled event, where participants can jog or stroll through the Village’s whimsical pathways on a certified course. Participants will receive a medal and can choose either the one-mile or 5K route on race day. All registrants, including virtual runners, are encouraged to raise funds online through http://support.gktw.org/IAAPA5K. Prizes will be awarded to the top individual fundraiser, top team fundraiser, and first-place male and female runners.
