Now that IAAPA Expo 2020 is canceled, will I receive a full refund? What are my options?
Move full deposits to IAAPA Expo 2021 in Orlando, Florida or other designated event. With this option, exhibit rates will remain the same as in 2020.
Refund fees less expenses of up to 20% of the total contracted amount.
The IAAPA expenses will be determined and communicated by October 5. Our goal is to send out refunds within 60 days.
Will I be able to keep my same booth location for 2021?
IAAPA assigns booth space in seniority order through the Space Allocation process. You will not be guaranteed the booth space you had contracted in 2020.
I have already shipped my items to Orlando. Will I receive a refund for shipping costs?
Please work with your shipping provider regarding any costs that you have incurred thus far. Unfortunately, IAAPA cannot reimburse exhibitors for shipping expenses.
What will happen to my exhibit seniority?
The IAAPA Manufacturer and Supplier Committee voted unanimously to freeze seniority calculations (based on 2019 year-end seniority) going into 2021. All exhibitors who contracted for IAAPA Expo 2020 will not gain or lose any seniority going into 2021 based on their decision to participate or not participate as an exhibitor if they maintain an active 2020 and 2021 IAAPA Membership.
The exception will be provided to 2020 First-Time exhibitors. They gain one year of exhibit history in seniority as long as they maintain an active 2020 and 2021 IAAPA membership.
I am also an IAAPA Expo sponsor and/or an advertiser in the show program and/or Show Daily. What are my options?
Move deposits to IAAPA Expo 2021 or another designated event.
Refund fees. Please note, if a sponsor chooses this option, any “grandfathered” rates as well as “first right of refusal” will be declined for 2021 sponsorship opportunities which will be opened to all IAAPA members on a first-come, first-served basis.

When and where will future IAAPA Expos shows be held?
IAAPA is moving forward with plans to host IAAPA Expo Asia 2021, scheduled to take place in Macao, China, June 7-10, 2021, IAAPA Expo Europe 2021 in Barcelona, Spain, Sept. 28-30, 2021, and IAAPA Expo 2021 in Orlando, Florida, Nov. 16-19, 2021.
How can I be involved in the new IAAPA Expo: Virtual Education Conference?
There will not be a virtual exhibit floor in the November education conference, but we will provide opportunities for manufacturers and suppliers to connect with potential customers by participating in the event as an attendee or sponsor of the event.
