Michiel ILLY, CEO of Beau Village Tourism Company Limited, has over 20 years’ experience in tourism operation, tourism property and entertainment facilities development both in China and internationally. Mr. ILLY studied mathematical economics at the University of Amsterdam and has worked for the PVCP Group from 1995 till 2010 in both operations and development. During that period, he contributed significantly in the development of our product with highly innovative concepts and also in the development of new parks. From 2010 till 2017 he worked and lived in China, where he developed new concepts and short break family resorts for the New Century hotel group. He was leader for the development of Senbo within New Century Senbo Xianghu (Hangzhou) which already opened, and New Century Senbo Deqing which opened at the end 2019. From 2017 till the end of March 2019 he served as a CEO of Tropical Islands in Germany (the biggest indoor waterpark in Europe).

With 29 years theme park and hotel management experience, he began his career at Kowloon Shangri-La Hotel since 1992, joined the Opening Team of Hong Kong Disneyland in 2005, and joined the Task Force Team of Shanghai Disneyland Resort in 2016. Christopher took an opportunity in R&F Hainan Ocean Paradise in 2018, before joining the Opening Team of Lionsgate Entertainment World & taking charge of Novotown Hengqin F&B and Retail since 2019 until now.

With many years of experience in the China theme park industry, Christopher aspires to be one of the key contributors in this industry with his extensive experience, operational knowledge, strong planning & leadership skills, and understanding of the Chinese market & culture.

Alvina holds a master’s degree in architecture from the Delft University of Technology, she focused on the research of buildings in extreme environment.   She is also Project Management Professional and WELL Accredited Professional.

Qu Chao was the senior manager of venue and refrigeration and head of cold area of Sunac snow park in Harbin. He has made outstanding contributions to the internal consumption saving of this park He is also the head of the expert group of indoor ski resort refrigeration and snowmaking in Sunac Culture and Tourism Industry, the expert of ice and snow industry equipment and technology of Heilongjiang Ice and Snow Industry Research Institute, the external instructor of civil engineering department and refrigeration department of Northeast Forestry University and Tianjin University of Commerce; and participated in the support work of Guangzhou, Chongqing and Chengdu Sunac Snow Park during the preparation period and the upgrade the snow play area of Harbin Sunac Snow Park.

Alan brings with him over 30 years of experience in waterpark, theme park and attractions business operations with the past 23 years in Asia. Alan began his career at Wet ‘n’ Wild Waterpark, Australia before working as a core member of the Warner Village Theme Park Group operations team, holding key management positions at Warner Bros. Movie World and Seaworld Australia. Alan brought his expertise to Asia to open China’s first waterpark in 1996 and has since developed and operated numerous world class waterparks and themeparks throughout Asia. 

Alan is highly respected within the industry, especially for this understanding of and experience within Asia and particularly the Chinese markets. Projects that he worked on in Asia include: Chimelong Water Park, Beijing Watercube Waterpark , Sunway Lagoon, Ramayana Water Park & Cartoon Network Amazon. Alan is currently the Vice President of Marine and Waterpark at Atlantis Resort Sanya. 

Alan’s waterpark projects have also been recognized globally receiving many prestigious leading industry awards for their development and operations plus Alan was personally awarded the World Waterpark Association Executive Board Award 2011 in recognition to his work in Asia and elected onto the Board of Directors for the World Waterpark Association in 2012.

Trained as an architect, Evi has 15 years of experience in leading multi-disciplinary and cross-cultural creative processes. She has held senior production design management roles in the Chinese film and theatre industries, and currently leads all creative aspects of Nickelodeon Experience Design in Asia, including the development of theme parks, lands, and attractions, for ViacomCBS Networks International (VCNI) Asia. 

Nickelodeon, one of the world’s largest brands for kids, creates experiences in partnership with premier leisure developers worldwide. Currently, there are Nickelodeon attractions, resorts and touring shows on nearly every continent around the globe. 

Before joining ViacomCBS, Evi served as senior Creative Director for Thinkwell Asia, delivering heritage attractions, theme parks and resorts for clients such as Lionsgate, Cartoon Network, BAIC Ferrari World China, Geely Volvo Automotive, Evergrande Group, MGM China and China Merchants Group.  

Evi also served as Senior Creative Director for Tim Yip Studio, the Oscar-winning production design team behind “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” directed by Ang Lee. With Tim Yip Studio, Evi worked on projects such as” Red Cliff”, a John Woo & China Film Group production, the Netflix series “Marco Polo” and “The Han Show” by Franco Dragone & the Wanda Group.

陈艾薇女士 (Evi Sari) 拥有建筑师的背景,在管理多学科设计和跨文化创意方面拥有15年的从业经验。她曾在中国影视和戏剧行业担任多项高级设计管理职位,目前就职于美国维亚康姆哥伦比亚国际传媒集团,负责尼克儿童频道亚洲的实景娱乐项目创意设计,其中包括主题公园、主题片区及娱乐项目开发。 

尼克儿童频道是世界最大的儿童品牌之一,与全球优质的文娱开发商合作打造游客体验。目前,尼克品牌旗下的实景娱乐项目、度假酒店和巡回演出等项目,遍及全球。 

在加入维亚康姆哥伦比亚国际传媒集团之前,陈艾薇曾担任思客未来亚太区的资深创意总监,擅长打造历史文化景点,主题公园和度假区的创意开发,为狮门影业、卡通频道、北汽中国法拉利世界、吉利沃尔沃汽车、恒大集团、美高梅中国和招商局集团等知名国内外客户提供服务。

Linda founded China Leisure, which develops and operates international branded parks and attractions in China, in 2015. She started her career in finance and has held positions across investment banking and private equity investments at Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and China Investment Corp (CIC). Linda found her passion for the theme park industry through her first project developing the Nickelodeon Universe indoor theme park in Chongqing, China. Since then, China Leisure has expanded into development of water parks, FEC’s and culture tourism attractions across China. Linda holds a BS in Economics from the Wharton School.

Melanie Chen has more than 10 years of working experience in LBE and branded experiences. Since 2010, she has been deeply engaged in various aspects of "experiential" industry. During her tenure as project lead in live experience agency of Publicis group and K2, she focused on serving premium lifestyle and luxury brands and accumulated solid hands-on experience in business development, account management, creative planning, event production, on-site operation and execution in each detail.

With aptitude for both strategic and problem solving thinking, Melanie joined Hasbro LBE team in 2016 and is now responsible for Hasbro’s LBE business in Greater China territory by formulating and implementing commercial strategic plan. to benefit long term brand building and category revenue growth including theme parks, hotels & resorts, FECs, retail dining & entertainment, live shows, exhibits and short term events. She leads strategic partnerships with various LBE licensees and partners in China.  

Melanie holds a bachelor degree from Shanghai Foreign Studies University and a master degree in marketing from IAE Grenoble France.

Alan  Kwok  is  the Director  of  Park  Operations  at  Shanghai Disney Resort, leading a team of over 2,000 Cast Members. He is a veteran operations leaderat Disney parks, with over 17years of experience in key operational roles. Alan  officially  joined  Shanghai  Disney  Resort  in 2013 as  the Director of Park Operations,and served as a key member of the resort’s opening team.In his current role, Alan manages Duty Manager Operations, Attractions Operations,theGuest Arrival  Experience,  Custodial  Operations,  Park  Event  and Guest  Flow  Operations,  and  Park  Operations  Compliance, leading   his   team   to   provide   every   guest   with Disney’s signature service during their time at Shanghai Disneyland.Alan’s Disney career began in 2004 as a core member of the opening team at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort. Initially hired as a duty manager, Alan’s responsibilities rapidly expanded, and in 2008 he was named the resort’s Manager of Security Operations. Alan has a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Christine Zhao is the General Manger of Hotel Operations at Shanghai Disney Resort. She is responsible for the daily operations of the two themed hotels at Shanghai Disney Resort –Shanghai Disneyland Hotel and Toy Story Hotel, leading her team to deliver excellent guest service to all hotel guests while developing hotel operations strategies to ensure high occupancy rate. Christine joined Shanghai Disney Resort in 2014 as Senior Manager of Hotel Operations. As one of the core members of the resort’s Grand Opening team, Christine successfully led the resort hotels’ turnover to operations, simulation and trial operations before its official opening, and drove the hotels’ operations strategy development. As a veteran in hotel operations, Christine has over 20 years of international hospitality experience, including holding key leadership positions in world-renowned hotel brands. Christine holds an associate’degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Ecole Hoteliere De Glion, Switzerland and a diploma in Strategic Leadership for Executives from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration.

Linke Liu is the director of Disneytown Operations, MICE and Event Sales at Shanghai Disney Resort, leading over 200 Cast Members.

Linke has a rich experience in operations, and in relationship management  with  operational  partners. Since the resort’s Grand Opening, Linke has served as Director of Disneytown Operations, leading  the  daily  operations  and  guest  services of Disneytown and its associated areas, as well as managing relationships with  key  external  operational  partners.  He recently  took on the  additional responsibility of as  Director of MICE and Event Sales, managing sales to corporate clients as well as the social catering business.

Linke’s Disney journey  began in  2011  as the Operation Development   Manager   at   Shanghai   Disney   Resort.His responsibilities extended rapidly and was named as External Operations  Director in 2013.  He  participated  in a  variety of handovers, including service  standard  formulations for the resort’infrastructure   facility   development, playing an important role in the resort’s Grand Opening team.

As the Regional Director of Operations for Harves Global Entertainment, Ivan Chak is responsible of the overall operations management for entertainment centers throughout Asia. Properties include the world's first Manchester United indoor entertainment center – the Theatre of Dreams in Beijing, KALIDICO by Care Bears in Shanghai, and coming soon NBA experience centers.  

After 13 years of career experience in Hong Kong Disneyland, Ivan joined Harves Entertainment from March 2019. With his vast experience in operations and establishing standards and procedures in international theme parks, Ivan takes part in planning, service system development and venue operation and management of the 3 indoor entertainment centres IP under Harves Global Entertainment. He plays an important role in the overall communication with the IP representatives, project design team and local operations team throughout the progress of project implementation. On behalf of Harves Global Entertainment, he maintains a good relationship with international and domestic partners. Ivan is an open minded and cheerful person in life. He is also a foodie and loves running.

担任华锐娱乐的区域运营总监,负责华锐娱乐旗下包括全球首家曼联室内娱乐中心“北京曼联梦剧场”,上海爱心小熊奇幻研究所,以及即将面世的NBA体验中心在内的亚洲区所有娱乐中心的整体运营管理。 

在香港迪士尼乐园积蓄13年的从业经历后,Ivan于2019年3月加入华锐娱乐集团。Ivan在国际乐园品牌运营和乐园运营服务标准体系建立方面经验丰富,曾责华锐娱乐集团旗下三大IP室内乐园的策划筹建、服务体系搭建和场馆经营管理工作。他全程参与与国际IP品牌方、国际乐园设计团队及国内实施落地团队的沟通并推动项目落地。代表华锐娱乐集团与国际、国内合作伙伴保持良好关系。 Ivan在生活中豁达开朗、热爱美食、喜欢跑步。

In 2019 he opens as a partner of Entertainment Development SL., a design and development themed entertainment firm based in Barcelona and Hong Kong where he manages marketing and sales in Asia. Peng is also operating a Tiktok channel with more than 50k followers, he produces informative content about themed entertainment industry and reviews amusement ride and attractions. Peng is an enthusiast of fun story based experiences that combine the latest technologies.

She has in-depth, hands-on experience with design, fabrication, installation, and commissioning of 6 high-IP attractions, including rides in Lionsgate Entertainment World Zhuhai and Genting Highlands SkyWorlds. Yuyi brings unique insight into creative and technical integration, schedule control, and end-to-end project management in the Chinese themed entertainment industry. When she is not on the job, Yuyi likes to travel and explore interesting restaurants and museums.

陈艾薇女士 (Evi Sari) 拥有建筑师的背景,在管理多学科设计和跨文化创意方面拥有15年的从业经验。她曾在中国影视和戏剧行业担任多项高级设计管理职位,目前就职于美国维亚康姆哥伦比亚国际传媒集团,负责尼克儿童频道亚洲的实景娱乐项目创意设计,其中包括主题公园、主题片区及娱乐项目开发。 

尼克儿童频道是世界最大的儿童品牌之一,与全球优质的文娱开发商合作打造游客体验。目前,尼克品牌旗下的实景娱乐项目、度假酒店和巡回演出等项目,遍及全球。 

在加入维亚康姆哥伦比亚国际传媒集团之前,陈艾薇曾担任思客未来亚太区的资深创意总监,擅长打造历史文化景点,主题公园和度假区的创意开发,为狮门影业、卡通频道、北汽中国法拉利世界、吉利沃尔沃汽车、恒大集团、美高梅中国和招商局集团等知名国内外客户提供服务。 

陈艾薇也曾担任奥斯卡最佳艺术指导奖得主葉錦添工作室的高级创意总监,其为李安执导的卧虎藏龙幕后的电影美术设计团队。就职于叶锦添工作室期间,陈艾薇女士参与了由吴宇森和中影集团联合制作的史诗电影《赤壁》,奈飞公司系列《马可·波罗》,以及弗兰克·德贡娱乐集团和万达集团共同打造的汉秀等项目。

Celebrating 30 years experience at Village Roadshow Theme Parks this year, in various capacities of managing, operating and marketing their signature portfolio of Theme Parks and Attractions around the world, it’s safe to say Selena Magill loves her job!  

Her career has spanned across countries around the world including Warner Bros. Movie World Australia, Wet‘n’Wild Gold Coast, Sea World Australia, Warner Bros. Movie World Germany, Australian Outback Spectacular, Paradise Country, Wet’n’Wild Phoenix, Las Vegas, Sydney, Haikou, Lionsgate Entertainment World, Zhuhai, Hengqin and Huayi Brothers Movie World, Suzhou, China.  

Selena has been experiencing the evolution of the Theme Park industry first-hand having started her career at Warner Bros. Movie World Australia in 1991 in Operations and Show & Entertainment and working in almost every department as she made her way through the ranks from the Front Line to Executive.  

Selena has a passion for the industry with a dynamic & collaborative management style that allows team engagement, building professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders from front line to the executive level. Enjoying challenging briefs and able to work to an excellent standard under considerable pressure whilst presenting a positive image to clients and colleagues with her unique personal brand.

She leads teams who have taken projects from pre-opening to launch and most recently taking over an operating park in China establishing a program of initiatives to ensure safety, efficiency, world class guest experience and increased in revenue.

It’s only fitting that with her vast experience, that she now finds herself in the role of Executive General Manager for Village Roadshow Theme Parks Asia heading up Lionsgate Entertainment World and other upcoming projects in China.
