Matt Blumhardt began his theme park industry career at the age of 17 at Cedar Point. He worked in Merchandise, Games, and Marketing at the park before moving on to Worlds of Fun as Director of Merchandise & Games. After a decade at Cedar Fair, he moved to Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari in 2018 as Vice President of Revenue Operations and this year took on the role of Vice President of Park Operations. He now oversees more than 1700 employees across both parks.  

Andrew Jacobs

As Chief Commercial Officer at accesso, Andrew Jacobs is responsible for leading all sales and marketing efforts across the business. In his previous role as President, accesso LoQueue and Managing Director, Europe, Jacobs led all aspects of accesso’s queuing business globally, and managed client partnerships and operations within Europe across all product lines.

Jacobs joined accesso in October 2014 following a successful tenure as the Divisional Director of the entertainment industry for OmniCo. Previously he was a co-founder of MATRA Systems and built its U.S. and European business, with a principle focus on the amusements and attractions industry. Jacobs boasts more than 25 years of experience in the retail transaction business in both the attractions and entertainment industries and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Southampton.

Daine Appleberry is the Vice President of Guest Services at Audubon Nature Institute in New Orleans, Louisiana. Daine oversees admissions, attractions, retail, and concessions operations across all Audubon facilities. His primary focus is the overall guest experience and exceptional customer service delivery by all guest facing team members. Daine was instrumental in the development and implementation of Audubon Nature Institute’s COVID-19 Pandemic Re-Opening Strategy. Daine is also a member of IAAPA’s Young Professional Mentor Program.

Sarah Clarke

Gateway Arch

Sarah Clarke is the Director of Operations at the Gateway Arch in St. Louis, Missouri. She works closely with Gateway Arch National Park’s partners to ensure a high quality experience for the monument’s 2.5 million annual visitors. Sarah is responsible for ticketing and the operation of the one-of-a-kind transportation system that takes close to 900,000 annual visitors to the top of the Gateway Arch. Her team is instrumental in the development of visitor service programs and for the training of 125 professional full-time, part-time and seasonal employees. 

Sarah holds a bachelor’s degree in Recreation Management and has over 16 years of management experience. She currently serves on IAAPA’s Amusement Parks and Attractions Committee and as an Advisory Board Member for Missouri State University’s Customer Experience Program.
