We are in the business of making people happy. We can all agree that making people happy is not only a great thing to do for a living - it is meaningful.  The pandemic has shown us all how we need a social connection to people and shared experiences.  The experiences that our industry creates have immense value for individuals’ mental health and for our social fabric, strengthening the bonds between families and friends by creating joyful memories. This webcast explores some of the science behind memory-making, and the experience design that leverages that to create emotionally rich venues and how operators can mindfully make moments that last lifetimes and drive rave reviews.

In this webcast, we will discuss:

·       The cultural and life stage aspects to consider when creating a memorable experience.

·       The link between physical and emotional in anchoring memories.

·       The triggers designers and operators use to make experiences unforgettable.

·       How memorable experiences drive your bottom line.

·       The role of the family unit; nostalgia and social affirmation in driving repeat visitation.

This webcast will be presented in English and is free for IAAPA members and non-members; however, registration is required.

Attendees are eligible to earn one continuing education unit (1 CEU) towards IAAPA recertification.
