Each January members of front line maintenance and operations teams and immediate supervisory teams of the amusement industry come to the AIMS Safety Seminar to learn from and connect with the leaders in the amusement industry.

Each November IAAPA offers a fantastic venue for ride manufacturers and suppliers of capital equipment to showcase their products.Both organizations have offered ample education and networking time at these events.

This year the two groups join talents to provide a new opportunity to connect the suppliers of support products and services directly with the people who use their products and services on a daily basis.

AIMS and IAAPA are pleased to announce that the two organizations are working together to bring a new event for the amusement industry.

In January 2009 at the AIMS Safety seminar to be held in Branson, MO, IAAPA is developing a venue for suppliers of support products and services for Amusement Parks, Carnivals, Water Parks, and FEC’s to exhibit their merchandise and services to the seminar attendees.

Included in the schedule will be a social event offering the exhibitors and attendees the opportunity to interact on a casual basis to exchange ideas and information. Silver Dollar City in Branson Missouri will host the inaugural presentation of the “Supplier’s Trade Show Event” in conjunction with the AIMS Safety Seminar.

We are looking forward to a lively kick off of the AIMS Safety Seminar with a Welcome Reception Sunday evening with classes beginning Monday.

As mentioned in the May issue of Amusement Today, after the inaugural event in Branson the second show will be held in conjunction with the IAAPA Attractions Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada in November 2009.
