Legislative Advocacy
IAAPA tracks U.S. federal and state legislation to keep members up-to-date on issues that affect the industry. Our staff regularly meets with policymakers to educate them on the industry and address the potential impact of legislative proposals.
Regulatory Advocacy
IAAPA monitors the rulemaking process, informs members of proposed rules and provides public comment on behalf of the industry.
Grassroots Action Center
The IAAPA Grassroots Action Center connects IAAPA members to elected officials. From time to time, IAAPA will send legislative alerts to members, informing them of pending legislation and directing them to the Grassroots Action Center to send a pre-written message to elected officials.
Political Action Committee
IAAPA PAC is a resource for members to pool their federal campaign contribution dollars together to have a big impact on behalf of the industry. Learn more about IAAPA PAC.
Alliances and Coalitions
IAAPA participates in many coalitions and alliances to stregthen our impact and further the policy goals of the travel and tourism industry.
