Data was provided for key countries/states/provinces including United States, Canada, Florida, California, and Ontario. The study covers theme/amusement parks, water parks, and family entertainment centers (FECs).

The study provides sales, employment, and employee compensation from the attractions themselves, as well as those supported by off-site visitor spending on expenditures such as hotels, restaurants, shopping, and transportation because of their visit to the attraction.

IAAPA European Amusement and Theme Park Industry: An Assessment of Economic Impact, 2014

The study provides estimates of the scale of visits, revenue, employees and marketing expenditure across the 17 member states of the European Union that have theme and amusement parks plus Norway and Switzerland, together with estimates of the direct, indirect and induced economic impact of the attractions.

The output does not include estimates of the off-site economic impact of visitors to theme and amusement parks.
