Leisure Labs LLC Signs on as Gold Sponsor
for IAAPA International Charity Golf Tournament
IAAPA Attractions Expo Event Benefits Give Kids The World

Alexandria, Virginia (United States) – Leisure Labs LLC, a broad-based ride and attraction supplier, has signed on as Gold Sponsor for the IAAPA International Charity Golf Tournament. Golfers will tee off promptly at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 16, at Angel Park Golf Club in Henderson, Nevada. The seventh annual tournament benefits Give Kids The World (GKTW) and kicks off IAAPA Attractions Expo 2009, taking place in Las Vegas Nov. 16 – 20.

“This is an important event for our industry, and Give Kids The World is a wonderful charitable cause which IAAPA has championed,” says Bob Dean, president of Leisure Labs. “I first played in the tournament at IAAPA Attractions Expo in Atlanta.  It was a blast, and our team won.  I should have taken that as a sign, but it was my visit to Give Kids The World Village last summer that made the Village and the charity real for me. What an amazing place and what an incredible group of people!”

Several sponsorship opportunities, ranging from the $200 Patron Sponsorship to the $5,000 Silver Sponsorship, remain available for the tournament. Other openings include a $2,000 sponsorship for the new stationary snack bar, which offers refreshments for passing players; $2,500 mobile beverage cart sponsorships; or $750 hole sponsorships. In-kind donations are accepted for player gift bags or as a prize for the on-site raffle; raffle tickets cost $10. More information regarding sponsorship opportunities is available at www.IAAPA.org/expos/attractions/CharityEvents.asp or by contacting Angela Albertini at aalbertini@IAAPA.org, +1 703/836-4800 ext. 774.

Registration for the golf tournament is provided by Omni Ticket Network at www.IAAPA.org/expos/attractions/CharityEvents.asp. The registration fee is US$200 and includes a round of golf, breakfast, lunch, a social, and award ceremony. Playing slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis and participants are encouraged to register quickly, as last year’s event sold out several weeks prior to the event.
