Euro Attractions Show 2007 in Spain

Seville to Host Next Year’s EAS

The venue of the 2007 Euro Attractions Show was announced at the EAS in Vienna on Friday, 3 February by John Collins, EAS Board Member: Seville, in Southern Spain it to host next year’s show.

“It is an EAS tradition to move to a new city each year. Seville not only put in a great offer but also provides an outstanding environment for the show: the convention center is surrounded by one of Spain’s most beautiful parks, the “Isla Mágica”. It is going to be part of an exciting supporting program which will include behind the scene tours and a comprehensive educational program”, comments Beth Robertson, Vice President Communications.

A dynamic combination of influential professionals from amusement and theme parks, carnivals, fairs and showmen, family entertainment centers, waterparks, zoos and aquariums, museums and science centers, stadiums and arenas, campgrounds, casinos and gaming, shopping centers and retailers, and more will be excepted to exhibit their products against the backdrop of the historical sights of the Andalusian capital.

“We are expecting next year’s show to be even bigger than this year. The EAS is an indication of a booming industry: we expect it to grow at a steady rate of 5% in Europe and the Middle East alone”, says Robertson.
