EAS Announces Potential Locations for 2007 Show
24 Jan., 2006 - The Euro Attractions Show announced today its five finalist locations for 2007. The five cities in contention to host the premier European trade show for the attractions industry are: Nice, Valencia, Amsterdam, Berlin and Brussels.
The EAS gathers a dynamic combination of influential professionals from amusement and theme parks, carnivals, fairs and showmen, family entertainment centers, waterparks, zoos and aquariums, museums and science centers, stadiums and arenas, campgrounds, casinos and gaming, shopping centers and retailers, and more.
“I believe the EAS is a very good intiative and necessary to provide the leading show for the European markets,” said Jeroen Nijpels of JN Entertainment and Leisure Consultancy and a 2005 EAS exhibitor. “I am happy to see the EAS on a rotating schedule starting in 2007.”
EAS 2006 will be held February 3-5, 2006, at Messe Wien Convention Centre in Vienna. With more than 9,000 square meters of exhibit space and more than 250 exhibitors, EAS 2006 will offer the only comprehensive range of product categories, educational sessions, renowned keynote sessions, and networking opportunities available in Europe.
The 2006 show will mark EAS’s sixth year. Exhibitors already registered for EAS 2006 include well-known industry companies like Vekoma, Sally Corp., Gerstlauer, Whitewater West, Bob’s Space Racers, Zamperla, Pax, Mack, Intamin, Premier Rides, Huss, Forrec, and Hafema. Other products and services that will showcase at EAS 2006 include amusement rides, food and beverage, consultancy services, theming and design companies, and “back of house” capabilities like ticket sales and IT services.
