EAS Announces Potential Locations for Future Years
ALEXANDRIA (Mar. 30, 2006) – The Euro Attractions Show announced today its six finalist locations for 2008 and 2009. The six countries in contention to host the premier European trade show for the attractions industry are: Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands and Sweden. A final decision will be made in September.
EAS 2007 will be held from January 30 - February 1, in Seville, Spain. By combining more than 10,000 square meters of exhibit space, a comprehensive range of product categories, educational sessions and networking opportunities, the EAS is Europe’s premier event for the amusement and attractions industry.
“Selecting show locations for several years demonstrates our commitment to continue the best show in Europe,” said Mats Wedin, President and CEO, Liseberg, and EAS Board member. “The parks and attractions business continues to strengthen worldwide, and you could definitely hear and see evidence of that at the EAS. I’m excited for the future of this show and the industry as a whole!”
Appropriate and sufficient space for the exhibit floor, meetings and educational sessions; venues to host behind-the-scenes tours, receptions, and special events; and ease of movement throughout the city, are among the criteria which will be used in the selection process.
The 2007 show will mark EAS’s seventh year.
