IAAPA Marketing Campaign Named Best Association Marketing Effort for 2003
ALEXANDRIA, VA (USA) (May 1, 2004) – IAAPA 's convention marketing campaign was the finest marketing campaign in the association industry in 2003, the Society of National Association Publishers announced this month.
SNAP awarded First Place in the 2004 EXCEL Awards to IAAPA for its IAAPA Orlando 2003 Annual Convention and Trade Show "Masterpieces of Fun" attendee marketing campaign. The campaign blended recognizable artistic images-such as the Mona Lisa-- with the IAAPA brand of fun and excitement.
"We thank SNAP for recognizing the campaign's memorable theme and innovation," said IAAPA President Clark Robinson. "The campaign was a huge success--generating one of the highest attendances in IAAPA tradeshow history-so this campaign was as successful as it was attractive."
The EXCEL program judges more than 1,000 magazines, newsletters, scholarly journals, electronic publications, and websites for editorial content, design, general excellence, and improvement.
