IAAPA Announces 2003 Top FECs of the World Award Winners

 

ALEXANDRIA, VA. USA (Nov. 5, 2003) – The International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) today announced the winners of its inaugural Top FECS of the World awards program recognizing the global industry's best family entertainment centers. Winners came through a comprehensive judging process that considered operational efficiency, décor & ambience, marketing savvy, and managerial performance.

"The winners of this award really represent the leadership of this vital industry segment," said IAAPA President J. Clark Robinson. "By participating in this program they are raising industry performance standards for FECs around the world."

Award winners will be honored at the Family Entertainment Center Reception on Wednesday, November 19 at 6:00 - 7:30 pm in Room S310 A/B of the New North/South Building of the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL as part of the IAAPA Orlando 2003 Annual Convention and Trade Show.

At this time a plaque commemorating this special recognition will be awarded to the inaugural TOP FECs of the World winners and shortly followed by media availability. The winners for the inaugural 2003 TOP FECs of the World awards are:
