Press Pass Policy

2008 Asian Attractions Expo Press Pass Policy

IAAPA will offer complimentary trade show press passes to each credentialed and registered media outlet. This admission will allow eligible news reporters, photographers or videographers access to the trade show floor during public show hours. A detailed list of eligible personnel is below. Each media outlet is limited to three complimentary press passes.

In addition, IAAPA will issue one additional complimentary guest pass to each registered media personnel.

We are aware that some newspapers, Internet media, radio stations and television stations prefer their personnel not accept complimentary passes. We respect this policy and gladly will refuse passes to your personnel if you so indicate.

Newspapers/Magazines/Internet Media
Publisher, Reporter, Editor, Photographer, Writer, Webmaster

Radio Stations
Owner, Program Director, General Manager, News Reporter, News Director, On-Air Personnel, Assistant News Director, Producers

Television Stations
Owner, News Reporter, General Manager, Producer (Non-advertising), News Director, On-Air Personnel, Assistant News Director, Field producer, Program Director, Videographer, Assignment Editor, Production (Non-advertising)

Press Pass Procedures

  • To request a press pass, qualified members of the media should register to attend the Asian Attractions Expo 2008.
  • IAAPA will review media credentials, and once approved, you will receive a media pass confirmation via email for Asian Attractions Expo 2008.
  • On the day of your visit to the Asian Attractions Expo 2008, please bring a business card or a letter on station/publication letterhead confirming your full-time employment status and job title and photo ID to the Press Office in the Orange County Convention Center. Media must show BOTH pieces of identification to the press office staff to receive a press pass.

Please note- IAAPA has the right to refuse or withdrawal media passes at anytime.
