Registration Opens May 15 for the Seventh Annual Event to Benefit Give Kids The World
Alexandria, Virginia (United States) – Sponsorship opportunities are now available for companies and individuals interested in supporting the seventh annual IAAPA International Charity Golf Tournament to benefit Give Kids The World (GKTW). The event, hosted by the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA), takes place Monday, Nov. 16, starting promptly at 8:30 a.m. at the Angel Park Golf Club in Las Vegas, Nevada. Registration for the event will open May 15.
The tournament provides an opportunity for attractions industry leaders worldwide to enjoy a day on the fairways before the opening of IAAPA Attractions Expo 2009. The conference and trade show is the largest gathering of attractions industry professionals in the world and will be held for the first time at the Las Vegas Convention Center–South Halls in Las Vegas, Nevada, Nov 16–20.
Several sponsorship opportunities are available for the tournament ranging from the $200 Patron Sponsorship to the $10,000 Gold Sponsorship. In-kind donations are accepted for player gift bags or as a prize for the on-site raffle; raffle tickets cost $10. Online registration, provided by Omni Ticket Network, will go live May 15 atwww.IAAPA.org/expos/attractions/CharityEvents.asp. There are 144 playing slots available on a first-come, first-served basis. The registration fee is US$200 and includes a round of golf, breakfast, lunch, a social, and award ceremony. Participants are encouraged to register quickly, as last year’s tournament sold out several weeks prior to the event.
