More than 1,000 Exhibitors to Showcase What’s New in Global Attractions Industry; IAAPA Attractions Expo 2008 Exhibit Space 95 Percent Sold Out Expanded Vendor Tour Program to Provide Guided Experience for Buyers
Alexandria, Virginia (United States) – Companies interested in showcasing their products and services at the world’s largest trade show for the attractions industry better hurry and finalize their plans because the exhibit floor is almost sold out. In fact, 95 percent of the 500,000 net square feet of exhibit space available has already been reserved by more than 1,000 different companies, preparing to present new rides, exhibits, productions, goods, supplies, and services for the attractions industry at IAAPA Attractions Expo 2008, Nov. 18-21, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
Produced by the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA), the Expo will feature exhibitors from 28 countries who will present their products and services in 133 product categories, including bowling equipment, carousels, food, gifts, and inflatables, to redemption prizes, roller coasters, security systems, shows, and water rides, plus much more.
More than 25,000 people from 90 countries are expected to participate in the weeklong event. Buyers will represent all aspects of the attractions industry – theme and amusement parks, waterparks, family entertainment centers, zoos, aquariums, museums, science centers, casinos, campgrounds, resorts, carnivals, fairs, historic sites, and recreation centers.

Trade Show Floor Tour Program Facilitates Buying
To facilitate the buying process, Expo organizers have expanded the Trade Show Floor Tour Program to include five new tours. This year’s tours include:

NEW - Waterpark Suppliers (Nov. 19, 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.)
NEW - Museum Suppliers (Nov. 19, 1:30-3:30 p.m.)
Inflatable Suppliers (Nov. 19, 3-5 p.m.)
NEW - Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Suppliers (Nov. 20, 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.)
NEW - Food and Beverage Suppliers (Nov. 20, 1-3 p.m.)
Haunted Attraction Suppliers (Nov. 21, 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.)
During the Trade Show Floor tours, guides will fast-track participants’ tour from booth to booth to participating exhibitors who will demonstrate their products; provide an overview of their terms, pricing, and shipping; answer questions; and discuss service and finance plans (where applicable). In addition to making it easier to compare and contrast the options provided by the exhibitors, participants will learn from each other as they discuss the pros and cons of the available options.
