Six Ways to Support GKTW at IAAPA Attractions Expo 2012

IAAPA Attractions Expo 2012 to Offer Six Ways to Support
IAAPA’s 17-Year Charity Partner, Give Kids The World

(August 15, 2012) – This November, IAAPA Attractions Expo attendees will have multiple opportunities to support Give Kids The World (GKTW), including playing 18 holes at a scenic Orlando golf club, going hog wild during IAAPA’s Motorcycle Ride, getting in touch with their inner Olympian, or visiting the GKTW Village. Last year, IAAPA raised more than $74,000 for GKTW during IAAPA Attractions Expo, and hopes to eclipse that figure this year.

Attendees can also contribute on the trade show floor by entering the GKTW Chance to Win or by donating booth items, such as plush, games, t-shirts, rides, etc. All profits will benefit GKTW, a storybook resort that provides cost-free dream vacations for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families from around the world.

“Give Kids The World’s mission is based on putting smiles on children’s faces, something the attractions industry understands,” said Chip Cleary, IAAPA President and CEO. “Whether golfing, riding, running, or buying a chance to win there are a variety of ways for exhibitors, attendees, and their families and friends to support Give Kids The World at this year’s Expo.”
