Countless Opportunities for Industry Leaders to Expand their Professional Networks Abound at IAAPA Attractions Expo 2016 in Orlando, Florida, Nov. 14-18

(Alexandria, Virginia, United States) – IAAPA Attractions Expo 2016 attendees can enjoy 12 different networking opportunities, including the Opening Night Reception, the Young Professionals Reception, Asia-Pacific Breakfast, Water Park Social, Laser Tag Operators' Networking event, and more. The events provide a relaxed atmosphere where industry professionals can connect or reconnect with international peers and colleagues from C-level executives to managers, suppliers, and those just beginning their career in the attractions industry.

IAAPA Attractions Expo is the premier conference and trade show for the global attractions industry and takes place Nov. 14-18, 2016 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. More than 30,000 attraction industry professionals, 1,000 exhibitors, and some of the most well-respected names in the industry will gather at the Expo to network, learn, and see a variety of new products and technology.

In addition to the 12 networking events offered at IAAPA Attractions Expo 2016, IAAPA hosts three signature events during the conference. The signature events are the Kickoff Event, GM and Owners' Breakfast, and IAAPA Celebrates at SeaWorld Orlando. Details of the signature networking events will be released separately.

2016 Networking Event Highlights

Museum and Science Center Reception: Monday, Nov. 14, 5–6:30 p.m.
Museum and science center professionals alike can recap the day's events while connecting with colleagues from around the world.

Water Park Operators' Networking Event: Monday, Nov. 14, 5–6:30 p.m.
Water park professionals from around the world will exchange ideas with their industry peers and connect with members of the IAAPA Water Park Committee at this networking event. Attendees are presented an opportunity to learn about the resources and information IAAPA provides related to safe and efficient operations, benchmark surveys, and more in a casual setting.

Family Entertainment Center (FEC) Reception: Monday, Nov. 14, 7:30–9 p.m.
This networking reception is exclusively for family entertainment center (FEC) owners, operators, and managers to connect with peers in the FEC community around the world. The finalists of the 2016 IAAPA Brass Ring Awards' Top FEC of the World category are recognized, and a special celebration of the "100th Anniversary of Miniature Golf" is featured.

Opening Reception: Tuesday, Nov. 15, 6–7:30 p.m.
Participants will celebrate the start of IAAPA Attractions Expo 2016 with the Opening Reception. Attendees from around the world and across all industry segments will come together to connect with business colleagues in a relaxed setting.

Young Professional Reception: Tuesday, Nov. 15, 8–9 p.m.
Young professionals ages 18-35, whether a student or a full-time industry professional, will gather together to exchange ideas with peers and interact with invited seasoned industry leaders. The 2016 International Young Professional of the Year Award will be presented during the reception.

Carnival and Showmen's Reception: Wednesday, Nov. 16, 6–7:30 p.m.
Carnival owners, showmen, and outdoor amusement business operators can connect with longtime friends and establish new business relationships at this reception. Outdoor Amusement Business Association (OABA) and Showmen's League of America (SLA) members qualify for IAAPA member pricing.

European, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Reception: Wednesday, Nov. 16, 6–7:30 p.m.
Attractions industry professionals from Europe, the Middle East, and Africa will join their colleagues for a networking and social event to talk about the issues facing the industry and new opportunities on the horizon.

Latin America Reception: Wednesday, Nov. 16, 6–7:30 p.m.
Industry professionals from Latin America will connect with business owners and corporate executives from regional facilities and supplier companies as they discuss trends, new developments, and hot topics affecting business in the region.

Water Park Social: Wednesday, Nov. 16, 7–9:30 p.m.
Water park professionals gather for this not-to-be-missed networking event to discuss the latest trends in the water park industry, share ideas and best practices, connect with old peers, and meet new colleagues from around the world in this informal setting.

Asia-Pacific Breakfast: Thursday, Nov. 17, 8–10 a.m.
Business owners and corporate executives from the Asia-Pacific attractions industry gather for breakfast, and discuss trends, new developments, and hot topics impacting business in the fastest growing segment of the global attractions industry.

Canadian Breakfast: Thursday, Nov. 17, 8–10 a.m.
Canadian facility suppliers and attractions operators will connect with each other to build their growing industry network during this business breakfast.

Laser Tag Operators' Networking Event: Thursday, Nov. 17, 5–6:30 p.m.
Laser tag operators and suppliers will connect with old friends and make new professional connections to share best practices, lessons learned, and discuss hot new trends in the laser tag industry.
