(Orlando, Florida, US) - The International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) has selected the Amusements & Attractions Food Purchasing Organization (AAFPO) as the provider for a new food cost savings program. This IAAPA-endorsed program is a new member benefit available exclusively for IAAPA members. It will initially launch in the United States but will be expanded to cover as many international markets as possible in the future. 

The AAFPO program leverages the buying power of all the participating members to achieve the best food, beverage, paper, and supply prices through a network of select distributor and manufacturer partners. 

"We have been a very early participant in this new and exciting IAAPA-sanctioned program,” said Richard Sanfilippo, Owner, Sam's Fun City in Pensacola, Florida. “The AAFPO service has been great and we are averaging a savings across the board of more than 13 percent. Our annual savings will be more than 30 times my cost of IAAPA membership. It really pays, or in this case SAVES, to be an active IAAPA member.” 

“Our members frequently request programs that help them save money,” said IAAPA President and CEO Paul Noland. “We think the AAFPO food buying program will do exactly that. It is a smart way to leverage group buying power and further strengthens the value of IAAPA membership.”

The Amusements & Attractions Food Purchasing Organization is affiliated with the National Golf Course Restaurant Association, the International Restaurant Society, Svenska Krogare, and Svenska Golfrestauranger. These entities are all based on leveraging customers' group food and beverage buying power with their select Manufacturer and Distributor Partners to ultimately lower their individual costs.
