Primera Introduces Heavy-Duty Printer

1901_products_primeraPrimera Technology Inc., manufacturer of digital color printers, introduced its Impressa IP60 Digital Color Photo Printer. IP60 is a professional-grade color printer designed for heavy duty uses, such as photo booths, event photography, tourist attractions, amusement parks, family entertainment centers, photo studios, and location-based entertainment venues. The printer can produce a 4- by 6-inch photo in seven seconds and creates high-resolution images of up to 1,200 x 4,800 dpi. A wide range of paper surface options including gloss, luster, linen, repositionable adhesives, and postcards provide the ability to create print lengths of up to 24 inches using either dye or pigment inks. The IP60’s average cost per photo is 12 cents, and the printer itself costs approximately $899.

D4K40-RGB Offers High Lumens in Small Package

CHRISTIEChristie released its all-in-one D4K40-RGB Projector that utilizes 40,000-lumen Christie RealLaser illumination for top performance in a small and lightweight package. The projector provides more than 30,000 hours of operation to 80 percent brightness, 5000:1 contrast ratio, and up to 120 frames per second. The D4K40-RGB also features a new, patented, sealed optical path, which Christie says will provide eight-plus years of stable, virtually maintenance-free operation. The projector operates on single-phase 220V power, making it more cost-effective, according to Christie.
