CLIP N' CLIMBClip ’n Climb Rocks with BelayMate

Clip ’n Climb introduced the BelayMate, which the company describes as an innovative and foolproof new safety mechanism. Used by rock-wall climbers when connected to an auto belay system, the Clip ’n Climb is designed to provide safety and security, while reducing staffing costs. The company boasts the new sequencing device can replace a traditional belay carabiner with its duel connector system. The stainless-steel device can hold 2 tons. A swivel feature also eliminates twisting of the auto belay line. BelayMate features field-serviceable locking bolts that enable worn auto belay lines to be replaced, and a sequenced connector locking system means the auto belay lines can no longer retract accidentally. The company states that performance testing indicates a product lifetime in excess of 10 years.
