DIVERSIONES DEL BOSQUEDiversiones del Bosque

Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico

Located in the historical center of Morelia, Diversiones del Bosque is a small amusement park that is beloved by locals and families of the city. The park’s owner, Hector Gerardo Escamilla Rangel, says in 1952, his father, who ran a small company of mechanical attractions, was invited by Morelia’s mayor to install a scenic train in the children’s area of Bosque Cuauhtémoc, the city’s central park. Over time, after updates and the addition of more attractions, the area grew into today’s Diversiones del Bosque.

Currently, the park features nine attractions, including a scenic train that rides along 250 meters of track; according to Escamilla Rangel, almost all of the city’s families have experienced this ride. The park welcomes guests of all ages, from young children to their grandparents, and seeks to continue offering a first-rate, family-friendly experience.

“We decided to become an IAAPA member because the membership allows us access to information and resources about security, innovation, and continuous improvement of our services,” says Escamilla Rangel.
