Criteria for IAAPA Hall of Fame Award
To be considered for the IAAPA Hall of Fame, a nominee must:
- Have been associated with the attractions industry for a minimum period of 10 years.
- Have been associated with a theme or amusement park, waterpark, family entertainment center, zoo, aquarium, museum, science center, casino, resort or other attraction, manufacturer, supplier, designer, or attractions industry consultant.
- Have made a significant contribution to the worldwide attractions industry that has provided innovation, education, leadership, and/or influence both inside her/her organization AND within the industry in a manner that will continue to be of value in the future. Examples include contributions to the attractions industry at large such as: 1) Literary contribution 2) Design or invention of material equipment, processes, or technical services 3) Innovation in conjunction with attractions, rides, exhibitions, entertainment, food, merchandise, games, engineering, or safety.
