Bonus Category for 2011

Judge's Choice Award - All entries for other categories will be considered for this award automatically.

Category Definitions:

A qualifying 'Hard Good Souvenir' is an item for sale at a retail outlet of an IAAPA member facility during the 2011 operating season such as a plush toy, model, action figure, key chain, novelty item, drinkware, photo, or other non- clothing object.
A qualifying 'Soft Good Souvenir' is an item for sale at a retail outlet of an IAAPA member facility during the 2011 operating season which can be worn, such as a hat, shirt, pants, or swimware.

Tip to give your entry its best chance of winning: In addition to submitting your souvenir item, provide the judges with some context and back-story about your item. For example, if it reflects a themed ride or attraction, submit digital photos or brief video footage (on DVD or a USB) to show how your item captures the theme, energy, and memories of your guests' experience. For the Excellence in a Merchandise Display category, consider submitting brief footage of guests interacting with the display or panning out to show how it maintains the atmosphere and theme of its surroundings. Be creative, and remember, digital footage that you submit can help us bring greater recognition and publicity to our nominees!

Entry Deadline: August 12, 2011. Entries with completed entry forms must arrive at the IAAPA office by deadline. Partial or COD shipments may be disqualified.
