SERVICE AWARDS

Throughout its history, IAAPA has honored members for their service and contribution to the association and the industry. 

We present awards for Lifetime Service, in recognition of a member individual's or organization's consistent and long-term achievements serving the association and the industry; Outstanding Service, in recognition of a member individual or organization that works to foster the spirit of goodwill, professionalism, and higher levels of performance within the industry regionally, nationally, or internationally. The award recognizes excellence in service to the industry, which benefits IAAPA members at large; and Meritorious Service, in recognition of a member individual or organization that has advanced the IAAPA mission. "Our mission is to serve the membership by promoting safe operations, global development, professional growth, and commercial success of the amusement parks and attractions industry." This award recognizes a member volunteer who has given their time and talent to IAAPA.

The nomination forms for the 2009 Service Awards are available online. If you prefer, you may complete the PDF nomination form and mail it to IAAPA, Attn: 2009 Service Awards, 1448 Duke Street, Alexandria, VA 22314 USA. The deadline to submit complete entries is September 4, 2009.

The 2009 Service Awards will be presented on November 18 during the General Managers and Owners' Breakfast at IAAPA Attractions Expo 2009 in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
