Intamin Donates Tram to Give Kids The World

ImageIntamin is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2017, and instead of throwing a big party for the company, company officials instead decided to donate a transportation tram to Give Kids The World (GKTW) Village.
The Village is a fantastical resort in Kissimmee, Florida, that grants wishes to children suffering from life-threatening illnesses and their families. The tram—which features a rear car that’s wheelchair accessible—is valued at approximately $100,000. The Village will use the red and white tram to move families throughout the resort, particularly from their villas to onsite attractions like the carousel and ice cream palace.
“We have golf carts we use, but this tram seats 30,” said GKTW President and CEO Pamela Landwirth. “This is going to make their lives so much easier, and it’s so much fun!”
On Thursday, Landwirth presented Intamin’s Sascha Czibulka and International Amusements’ Vittorio Fabbri with a key to the Village in recognition of their donation.
