AIMS Safety Seminar Scholarship Winners for 2004

This years IAAPA scholorship winners attended the well-known industry seminar in Irving, Texas, at the Harvey Hotel in January. The event was presented by the Amusement Industry Manufacturers & Suppliers, International (AIMS). The annual program was started in early 1970s and currently offers more than 400 classes and hands-on sessions that cover topics such as operations for waterparks, amusement rides and devices, family entertainment centers, loss prevention for inspectors, and maintenance, design, and manufacturing. The seminar allows attendees to fully customize their classes to address the specific needs for their jobs.
The IAAPA executive and finance committee voted to support the AIMS safety seminar two years ago. Each year the scholarships are set up to cover the registration fees for up to five people from the amusement industry.
For more information about the scholarships or the program itself, please contact AIMS International at 772/398-6701, fax: 772/398-6702, or visit the web site at www.aimsintl.org.
