The LEGOLAND California Resort is a year-round, 128-acre theme park designed to bring the popular LEGO play materials to life for children 2 – 12 and their families. We are seeking a Games and Concessionaire manager to be responsible for planning, opening, and ongoing operation of all midway games, additional revenue generating units and contracted Concessionaires across the Park. Scope of the role includes responsibility for P/L, staff development, loss prevention, contract management, operations and safety. Ideal candidates will have at least five years of progressive games or concessions experience in a management role, preferably in a theme park, or related industry. Requires a demonstrated track record of success in managing a high quality, specialized program along with knowledge of computer systems, tracking analysis and related inventory management systems, is required. Requires an in-depth knowledge of contract negotiation, budgeting and scheduling, loss prevention and cash management. Successful candidates will have the ability to critically evaluate game success and pricing decisions, including cost, quantity and quality, and to negotiate favorable terms and conditions. Effective leadership, staff development, organizational, verbal and written communication skills are required. This position requires a commitment to excellence in customer service, outside vendor management and sales. Strong guest service, interpersonal and supervisory skills are required. A bachelor’s degree in business, management, or closely related field (or equivalent education and experience) is required.
