Shipping and Pick-up OptionsRegistration

IAAPA is not shipping any attendee name badges or purchased tickets in advance. All attendee name badges and purchased tickets can be collected at Registration in Orlando with a copy of your confirmation e-mail. Every attendee must collect their own name badge and will be required to verify identification by providing an official government photo identification and a business card. 

Exhibitor badges and purchased tickets can be shipped for an additional fee.

IAAPA Attractions Expo 2016 name badges include admission to all non-ticketed conference activities including the trade show, shuttle buses, the kick-off event, and the Brass Ring Awards. It also provides IAAPA members with free admission to the conference program. You must wear your name badge at all times while in the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC). No buyer or attendee can be admitted with an Exhibitor badge designation, nor should an attendee try to gain entry to the trade show with a badge that belongs to another individual. Badges can be revoked at IAAPA’s discretion. Lost badges must be repurchased at full value and if found, returned to IAAPA following the show for a refund. IAAPA will review all refunds on a case-by-case basis.

Tickets for EDUTours and Events

Ticketed events can be purchased in advance or on-site as available. To participate, each individual must have an event ticket and an Expo name badge. Space is limited and events may sell out on-site. Participation in ticketed events is limited to individuals age 18 and up. Lost or misplaced tickets must be repurchased at full value and if found, returned to IAAPA following the show for a refund. IAAPA will review all refunds on a case-by-case basis.

Substitutions and Transferring Special Event Tickets

Substitutions for attendee registration name badges are permitted in advance IF the badge has not yet been printed or shipped. The individual whose name is on the badge must send a consent to subsitution e-mail to agreeing to the substitution and naming the new person who should now receive the name badge. Click here for instructions.

Substitutions for attendee registration name badges are permitted on-site if both the printed copy of the original confirmation e-mail and a printed copy of the consent to substitution e-mail can be provided along with photo identification.

Special event tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred to a different colleague in advance of the show. The deadline to request a ticket transfer is Tuesday, November 1, 2016. The individual who purchased the tickets must send an email to with the ticket name and quantity along with the name and registration ID of the person who the tickets should be transferred to. Click here for instructions. 


All children attending the Expo must be registered and wear a name badge at all times.
Children 12 years of age and younger: Free. Must register on-site in Orlando. 
Children 13 years or age and older: Required to pay registration fee to access the trade show floor

No children under 18 are allowed to participate in social or networking events.TSF-1

  • Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times within the OCCC.
  • Children under 18 are not allowed on the trade show floor during exhibitor move in or move out.
  • IAAPA recommends children’s badges be attached directly to clothing, rather than worn on a lanyard.

Dress Code

The official dress code is business casual. Attendees are encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather as some special events and tours are held outdoors.

Translation Services

IAAPA offers free basic interpretation services in Spanish, Japanese, French, Italian, and Chinese. Reserve an interpreter for 30 minutes at no charge during opening hours of the International Business Lounge. Please schedule appointments as early as possible at the International Business Lounge. Interpreters needed for longer periods and interpreters fluent in other languages are available by appointment for a fee. For questions on interpretation of sessions, refer directly to session details.

Restaurants on Trade Show Floor and at OCCC

A variety of restaurants, concessions stands, and food carts are on both the North and South Concourses. Concessions will also be on the trade show floor. Show floor locations will adhere to show hours; hours for OCCC restaurants will be listed at each restaurant.

Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) FedEx Office 

The OCCC FedEx Office is open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to assist attendees with a variety of services including printing, shipping and receiving packages, ship to home services and more. 


No babysitter service is available at OCCC. Please check with your hotel and make alternate arrangements.

The IAAPA Attractions Expo Conference Program will feature over 100 education seminars, luncheon events, and round table discussions. 

Participation in the Education Conference is FREE to IAAPA members and is available to non-members who purchase access to education for $329. 

Outdoor Events 

We are monitoring the available information on the Zika virus as it is provided by health agencies around the world. The World Health Organization (WHO) has issued no travel restrictions related to the Zika virus. Orlando and Orange County health officials have issued no warnings for the area, and there have been no cases of non-travel related Zika cases identified in Orlando. 

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control, the Florida Department of Health, and Orange County health department officials continue to monitor the situation. The following resources have additional information, including ways to prevent mosquito bites:

Visas and International Attendees

We encourage all international attendees to research their individual visa requirements for entry into the United States of America. It is the responsibility of each individual to determine their visa requirements and to acquire them as necessary to participate in IAAPA Attractions Expo. IAAPA provides letters of invitation only for registered exhibitors and attendees and information is collected during the registration process to facilitate this process. 

If an individual is unable to acquire a visa for entry, IAAPA will refund 100% registration fees with no processing fee if notified by November 18, 2016. A refund due to lack of visa entry must be requested by November 18, 2016, After that date, no refunds for visa related issues will be accepted.

Please see the parking map and instructions here. Daily rates are $15.00/day for passenger vehicles or $25.00/day for oversized vehicles. There is also a free shuttle service from the Destination Parking Garage. There is no overnight parking at the OCCC. Vehicles will be towed nightly.

I-Ride Trolley Service

The I-Ride Trolley is the exclusive, convenient and affordable transportation to hundreds of destinations within the International Drive Resort Area, inviting passengers to ride to local shops, restaurants, attractions, and hotels. The trolley operates daily from 8 a.m. – 10:30 p.m. Fares per ride: Adult $2 (Age 9-64), Seniors $0.25 (Age 65+), Children $1 (Age 3-9). Exact change is required for all cash fares. Unlimited ride passes are sold at most hotels, visitor centers, Walgreens and online. Fares: One-day pass is $5, three-day pass is $7, five-day pass is $9, seven-day pass is $12.

Photography, Broadcast, and Livestreaming

Only escorted members of the Press are allowed to photograph booths. Attendees must obtain permission from the exhibitor before photographing a booth. Selfie sticks and Periscoping or Livestreaming of any kind is not permitted. A violation of this policy is a violation of IAAPA Show Guidelines. 

IAAPA Expo Show Guidelines

All registrants must comply with IAAPA policies on IP, Outboarding, Suitcasing and Photography, Broadcast, and Livestreaming. Additionally the following also apply:

  • Name badges are not transferable and cannot be reproduced, altered or swapped.
  • Lost or misplaced name badges can be replaced for $50.
  • Lost or misplaced special event tickets can be repurchased at full cost.
  • Personal safety and the security of personal effects is the responsibility of each registrant.
  • No hover boards or Segway's are permitted on the trade show floor.
  • NOTICE: Weapons of any kind prohibited.

Failure to adhere to Expo Show Guidelines can result in confiscation of name badge and removal from event.
