IAAPA Trade Show Floor Vendor Tours

Terms and Conditions

1. Purpose and Scope

1.1 The purpose of the IAAPA Trade Show Vendor Tour program is to afford participating exhibitors the opportunity to make a presentation on their products and services to registered attendees at the IAAPA Attractions Expo.

2. Program Administration

2.1 IAAPA Trade Show Floor Vendor Tour program is administered by the IAAPA Education Department. The program administrator is Eamon Connor. Econnor@iaaap.org

3. Vendor Tour Schedule

3.1 The vendor tour schedule is established by the IAAPA Education department in consultation with the IAAPA M&S Committee. This includes the tour product categories as well as the day and time for each tour.

4. Vendor Tour Schedule Route and Stop Number

4.1 The exact tour route and a participating exhibitor’s stop number on the tour are determined as close to the expo as possible and no later than Friday November 6th 2015.

4.2 Exhibitors will be advised of their tour stop number at that time. The tour route is designed to get attendees around the show floor in the most efficient way possible minimizing the distance that attendees have to walk on each tour.      

4.3 Once the tour route is set, it is not possible to change the tour route or an exhibitors’ stop number.

5.  Tour Booth Contact

5.1  Participating exhibitors should designate a booth contact person. This person should be responsible for all communication with IAAPA.

6.  Tour Presentations

6.1 Participating exhibitors are expected to prepare a presentation for the tour group.

6.2  Presentations on the tour must be limited to 7-10 minutes.

6.3  Presentations may be conducted in any way that you choose including MS Powerpoint, video and the distribution of "Sales Literature."

6.4  Presentations should typically be general in nature covering the range of products and services that a vendor provides or highlighting an individual product.   

6.5  Presentations should take place within the exhibit booth and not the aisle. 

6.6  Participating exhibitors should ensure that the have the appropriate number of staff to accommodate the tour group.

7. Tour Groups

7.1 Tour group sizes can vary but are limited to 40 persons maximum.

7.2 Tour groups will be accompanied by IAAPA ambassadors and in some cases by IAAPA committee members.

7.3 All tour attendees will have a small headset to hear the presentation above the general din of the show.

7.4 Each booth contact will be given a similar headset and clip-on microphone with which to make a presentation.
