Amsterdam as host for EAS 2018

How to get there?

By plane
Amsterdam  and the RAI Convention Centre are centrally located in Europe and easy accessible from Schiphol Airport. Direct flights from more than 300 destinations will bring you to Amsterdam in no-time. From Schiphol Airport it is only a 10-minute trainride to RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre.

By train
RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre is easy accessible by train as well. The station of RAI Amsterdam is only a few minutes walk and easy accessible from international destinations.

The Netherlands are connected to the following international destinations by train:

  • From Belgium

    The InterCity from Brussels arrives in The Hague or Rotterdam. From there a transfer is required to the Dutch Railways (NS) to continue the travel to RAI Amsterdam.

  • From France

    The Thalys connects Paris to Amsterdam in less than 4 hours. Amsterdam Central Station is connected to RAI Amsterdam by subway, tram and train.

  • From Germany

    The ICE connects Amsterdam to Düsseldorf and Frankfurt. Other destinations such as Berlin require a transfer.

  • From England
    The Eurostar runs since 2018 from London to Amsterdam in less than 4 hours.

By bike
Did you know that the number of bikes in Amsterdam exceeds the number of inhabitants and is four times the number of cars in Amsterdam? Rent a bike to travel from your hotel to RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre and experience some authentic Dutch culture along the way. Amsterdam offers about 400 kilometers of bike paths, which even leads through the renovated Rijksmuseum.
