Carlos Canto, CEO of SPSG Consulting, Spain
Carlos has been in charge of developing Marketing, Sponsorship and Sport and Entertainment projects with Lagardere Sports and Entertainment, for Corporations and Public Entities, since 2014. For more than 10 years, as IMG Vice-President and Head of Public Sector & Tourism unit, he has been involved in all consulting projects related to sport and sponsorship for public sector entities and tourism destinations boards, as well as selected corporate sponsorship projects. His main expertise is in advising corporations and sport entities in strategizing and deploying synergies around their marketing and sponsorship investments, and in carving out holistic marketing and partnership strategies for public entities to maximize their revenues and been promoted thru sponsorship platforms. Carlos has been responsible for innovative and successful projects worldwide and is currently working with Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and PortAventura World. Carlos holds a BBA & MBA (ESADE Business School). He is an Associate Professor of “Sports Business” and “Sponsorship” at ESADE Business School and guest speaker at other Business Schools (IESE, IE, Columbia University).
