Session Description

What role does social media play in the marketing mix and what role does traditional media such as print and radio play? From the four P’s of Product, Placement, Price, and Promotion to mobile marketing and more, this session examines what every attraction’s operator should be practicing in marketing and promoting their facility today.   

Facilitated by Professor Erwin Taets, VIVES Flanders Leisure Academy, this is an excellent program for emerging leaders, young professionals and small attraction operators.

Erwin Taets, VIVES, Belgium

Erwin Taets, is a coordinator and researcher for Flanders Leisures Academy at VIVES Kortrijk, Belgium. He lectures, researches, consults and publishes about the Leisure and Theme Park industry, specializing in social media analysis and management for leisure companies and organizations in Belgium. He also lectures at the Leisure Management Faculty of the Association of KU Leuven in Kortrijk.
Robert Arvidsson
Robert Arvidsson, Head of Marketing, Liseberg, Sweden

Robert is Head of Marketing at Liseberg and member of the management team. His key responsibilities includes group brand strategy, marketing and digital business development. Prior to Liseberg, Robert held different senior brand management and e-commerce positions in retail and airline industries and as a consultant in brand and communications agencies. Robert holds a BA in Marketing Communications and an MBA in Strategic Brand Management.
